All of Art Land’s exclusive, beautiful mango wood furniture is produced by responsible farmers and manufacturers who operate within the Trees4TreesTM code of ethics. Trees4TreesTM is a non-profit foundation established to empower local communities through partnership reforestation initiatives and related education programs. When forestry is implemented in partnership with communities it can raise standards of living and contribute to positive development.
Art Land works with manufacturers who follow the foundation’s guidelines on procedures, ethics and wood sourcing. This, combined with unique designs and 45 days of independent kiln drying of the timber, results in a premium product – with design, quality and environmental credentials.
Each item of mango wood furniture sold by Art Land Indooroopilly has a unique World Identification Number (WIN). This number verifies that a portion of the purchase price of the furniture has been donated to the foundation to fund replacement of trees used in its manufacture.
